The one word that means the most
in the time of pain
when almost all is lost
and there is nothing left to gain


it can mean the most
when its from someone who cares
its all someone needs
when they are in despair


the one special word
one syllable that helps
when the depressed give up
and want to scream and yelp


the word is not love
though it would help those who mope
but it is that lifting word
and that word is hope.
